Danni Heverin is ATL's Latest It Girl

The bombshell dancer, actor and choreographer cultivates creativity in Atlanta with her new studio.

Danni Heverin may look familiar: The statuesque blonde and University of Alabama grad first graced the pages of JEZEBEL in 2015, when she was named a Most Eligible Atlantan. She also happens to be a Radio City Rockette—casual, right? The high-stepping star has performed with the world-famous dance troupe in the Christmas Spectacular for the past five seasons.

Now, the 26-year-old is kicking off a new role as the owner of DH Studios, a natural light-filled, private-session workspace in Poncey-Highland’s Telephone Factory Lofts. “I became extremely frustrated when I would have to choreograph in my living room at 3am or have to shell out $50 per hour for a large studio space just to hold a private,” says Heverin, who works in ATL’s TV and film industry during the Rockettes’ offseason (most recently, she assisted acclaimed Creative Director Jamaica Craft on the Facebook Watch series Queen America). But what started as her personal passion project “eventually evolved into a tangible way to give back to the creative community,” she continues. “I hope to inspire other artists to stay true to their visions, work hard and dream big.”

Though DH Studios is “my baby at the moment,” Heverin shares, the talented beauty also loves to teach (catch her jazz class Wednesdays at 7:30pm at Anthony Burrell’s Center for Dance) and travel the country as a judge for dance competitions, with hopes of eventually moving into more roles behind the camera as a choreographer. “I’m a self-proclaimed dreamer and truly believe that we can accomplish anything we set our minds to,” she says. “It’s all about setting attainable goals and remaining resilient in the face of struggle.” @danniheverin; @dh.studios
