We love TRADERS NEIGHBORHOOD STORE in East Atlanta.  The 4,000-square-foot home store is as eclectic as the neighborhood that surrounds it and is filled with modern accessories and decorative items like lamps, wall art and candles from Voluspa, Votivo and Archipelego.  The store also features beds, armoires and dressers in stock, as well as furniture lines Rowe, Sitcom and Zocalo for custom-order pieces.  485B Flat Shoals Ave., 404.522.3006,

The NAKATO family practically introduced Japanese dining to the ATL when they opened the eponymous restaurant almost 40 years ago.  Today the family still runs the restaurant, which includes hibachi-style dining and traditional tatami rooms.  Dishes like gindara (miso-marinated black cod) and hamachi kama (grilled yellowtail collar) are among the most popular and delicious.  Nakato also features an extensive sake selection–about 2,000 different varieties–that changes seasonally.  1776 Cheshire Bridge Road, 404.873.6582,   Who doesn’t love markandscott for their incredible floral designs?  These guys are pros at creating arrangements that are distinctive and stunning because they include flowers and colors you’d never expect–or may have never seen before.  And they can do everything from single bud vases to soaring centerpieces.  The storefront is equally divine–showcasing their floral works as well as vintage-inspired frames, vases and other architectural elements.  It’s the perfect spot to find that special something for the person who has it all.  309 E. Paces Ferry Road, Suite 140, 404.841.4890,   ERIKA READE LTD. has been one of our go-to boutiques in Buckhead for more than 20 years.  The store is sophisticated and upscale and sells everything from unique gifts and home accessories to ceramic dinnerware, Good Earth Pottery and Mariposa.  But you also can find fine linens and sleepwear, beautiful candles and cards, and even children’s gifts.  3732 Roswell Road, 404.233.3857,   PERRYWINKLE’S in West Cobb has been a favorite of area shoppers since opening in 2003.  And it’s no wonder.  The boutique is a great place to find popular bed and bath products from Lady Primrose and Crabtree & Evelyn, jewelry designs from Emily Ray and Cindy Knox, tableware from Vietri and Juliska, and gourmet sauces and cookbooks from Paula Deen.  And fans of Vera Bradley will go gaga over the Vera Bradley store-within-a-store–it includes one of the largest selections in the state.  3718 Dallas Highway, 770.795.0075,
