It wasn’t enough for Randy and Jeannette Kravitz, the husband-and-wife duo behind River North’s PEACESpa, that their new line of skin care products contain the highest quality cosmeceutical-grade botanicals and natural ingredients—in layman’s terms: green tea, aloe extract, orange oil, seaweed, chamomile and a slew of vitamins and antioxidants—but they wanted their moisturizers, cleansers and masks to have healing powers beyond their containers too.
To wit: 10 percent of the products proceeds go to Peace Journey, a not-for-profit organization that sponsors cultural education trips around the world for Chicago kids.
